For jealousy enrages a man, And he does not spare in the day of vengeance.

And it came to be, when his master heard the words which his wife spoke to him, saying, “Your servant did to me according to these words,” that his displeasure burned.

And the woman conceived, and sent and informed Dawiḏ

Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death.

Wrath is cruel and displeasure overwhelming, But who is able to stand before jealousy?

He finds smiting and shame, And his reproach is not wiped away.

He does not regard any ransom, Nor accept your bribe, however great!

and a spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife who has defiled herself, or a spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he becomes jealous of his wife although she has not defiled herself,
