He finds smiting and shame, And his reproach is not wiped away.

And Yishai brought forth Dawiḏ

Let me hear joy and gladness, Let the bones You have crushed rejoice.

Show me favour, O Elohim, According to Your kindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, Blot out my transgressions.

“Boiling like water, you do not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed, then you defiled it – he went up to my couch.

He who commits adultery with a woman lacks heart; He who does it destroys his own life.

For jealousy enrages a man, And he does not spare in the day of vengeance.
