When the wrong rise up, men hide themselves; But when they perish, the righteous increase.

And he was hidden with them in the House of Elohim for six years, while Athalyah was reigning over the land.

And in every province and in every city where the sovereign’s command and decree came, the Yehuḏ

they turn the needy out of the way; the poor of the earth have hidden together.

When the righteous exult, there is great comeliness; But when the wrong arise, a man is searched for.

He who gives to the poor does not lack, But he who hides his eyes does have many curses.

One often reproved, hardening his neck, Is suddenly broken, and there is no healing.

When the righteous increase, the people rejoice; But when a wrong one rules, the people sigh.
