A stone is heavy and sand is weighty, But a fool’s wrath is heavier than both.
“Cursed be their displeasure for it is fierce, and their wrath for it is cruel! I divide them in Yaʽ
For wrath kills the fool, and envy slays the simple.
A fool’s wrath is known at once, But a clever one covers shame.
Let a bereaved bear meet a man, Rather than a fool in his folly.
Let another man praise you, And not your own mouth – A stranger, and not your own lips.
Wrath is cruel and displeasure overwhelming, But who is able to stand before jealousy?
