The words of a slanderer are like delicacies, And they go down into the inner parts of the heart.

He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets; Therefore do not associate with him Who speaks smoothly with his lips.

“Slanderous men have been in you to shed blood. And in you are those who eat on the mountains. They have done wickedness in your midst.

‘Do not go slandering among your people. Do not stand against the blood of your neighbour. I am יהוה.
