As a bird wanders, as a swallow flies about, So a curse without cause does not come.

“How do I curse whom Ě

Let them curse, but You bless. They shall arise, but be ashamed, And let Your servant rejoice.

because they had not met the children of Yisra’ĕ

“If so be, יהוה does look on my affliction, and יהוה shall return good to me for his cursing today.”

And the Philistine said to Dawiḏ

Like a bird that wanders from its nest, So is a man who wanders from his place.

And it shall be, like a wandering bird, a nest thrown out, so are the daughters of Mo’aḇ

“יהוה has brought upon you all the blood of the house of Sha’ul, in whose place you have reigned. And יהוה has given the reign into the hand of Aḇ
