He who gives to the poor does not lack, But he who hides his eyes does have many curses.

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father shall also forgive you.

“For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged. And with the same measure you use, it shall be measured to you.

“When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Master, Master, open for us,’ and He shall answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’

And crying out with a loud voice, they stopped their ears, and rushed upon him with one mind,

But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his tender affections from him, how does the love of Elohim stay in him?
