A man lacking heart shakes hands in a pledge, He becomes a guarantor for his friend.

He who is guarantor for a stranger suffers harm, But one who hates shaking hands in pledge is safe.

Take the garment of one who is guarantor for a stranger, And hold it as a pledge when it is for foreigners.

One oppresses the poor to increase his wealth, Another gives to the rich, only to come to poverty.
