Proverbs 17:15

He who declares the wrong right, And he who condemns the righteous, Both of them are an abomination to יהוה.

They band together against the life of the righteous, And declare innocent blood wrong.

“Keep yourself far from a false matter, and do not kill the innocent and the righteous, for I do not declare the wrong right.

A false scale is an abomination to יהוה, But a perfect weight is His delight.

The slaughtering of the wrong ones Is an abomination to יהוה, But the prayer of the straight is His delight.

It is also not good to punish the righteous one, To smite noble ones for straightness.

It is not good to show partiality to the wrong, Or to turn aside the righteous in right-ruling.

Lest they drink and forget the law, And pervert the right of all the afflicted.

These six matters יהוה  hates, And seven are an abomination to Him:

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

who declare right the wrong for a bribe, and the righteousness of the righteous they turn aside from him!

To turn aside the right-ruling of man Before the face of the Most High,

“And you have profaned Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to put to death beings that should not die, and to keep alive beings who should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies!”

For I know your transgressions are many and your sins are great, afflicting the righteous and accepting bribes, and turning aside the poor at the gate.

“O you who are turning right-ruling to wormwood, and have cast down righteousness to the earth!”

Do horses run on a rock? Does one plough it with oxen? For you have turned right-ruling into poison, and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood,

And to him who is not working but believes on Him who is declaring right the wicked, his belief is reckoned for righteousness,

“When there is a dispute between men, then they shall come unto judgment, and they shall be judged, and the righteous declared righteous and the wrongdoer declared wrong.

You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous – he does not resist you.
