The wrong shall covet the catch of evil-doers, But the root of the righteous yields fruit.

Those who come He causes to take root in Yaʽ

He lies in wait in a secret place, as a lion in his den; He lies in wait to catch the poor; He catches the poor, drawing him into his net.

For he shall be as a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That yields its fruit in its season, And whose leaf does not wither, And whatever he does prospers.

But now, having been set free from sin, and having become servants of Elohim, you have your fruit resulting in set-apartness, and the end, everlasting life.

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name He might give you.

The rich man’s wealth is his strong city; The ruin of the poor is their poverty.

The gentiles have sunk down in the pit which they made; In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.

The kind one has perished from the earth, and there is no one straight among men. All of them lie in wait for blood, everyone hunts his brother with a net.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who is winning lives is wise.

The desire of the wrong is set upon evil; His neighbour finds no favour in his eyes.
