So Mosheh gave the levy which was the contribution unto יהוה to Elʽ

And the children of Yisra’ĕ

“All the contributions of the set-apart gifts, which the children of Yisra’ĕ

And יהוה spoke to Aharon, “And see, I Myself have also given you the charge of My contributions, all the set-apart gifts of the children of Yisra’ĕ

And the human beings were sixteen thousand, of which the levy unto יהוה was thirty-two beings.

And from the children of Yisra’ĕ

‘And every man’s set-apart gifts becomes his, whatever any man gives the priest becomes his.’ ”

‘And every contribution of all the set-apart gifts of the children of Yisra’ĕ

or a bag for the journey, or two undergarments, or sandals, or staffs, for the worker is worthy of his food.

And let him who is instructed in the Word share in all that is good, with him who is instructing.

Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double respect, especially those who labour in the word and teaching.
