“And you shall give the Lĕ

And these are the ones who stood with their sons: Of the sons of the Qehathites were Hĕ
The Nethinim: sons of Tsiḥ
And they appointed the priests to their divisions and the Lĕ
and of the Nethinim, whom Dawiḏ
“Is it little to you that the Elohim of Yisra’ĕ
“But bring with you your brothers of the tribe of Lĕ
“And they shall guard all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the duty of the children of Yisra’ĕ
“Thus you shall separate the Lĕ
“For they are given ones, given to Me from among the children of Yisra’ĕ
“And I have taken the Lĕ
“And I have given the Lĕ
And He Himself gave some as emissaries, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as shepherds and teachers
That is why it says, “When He went up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.”
