but the sons of Qoraḥ
Merayoth brought forth Amaryah, and Amaryah brought forth Aḥ
And Shallum son of Qorĕ
As a deer longs for the water streams, So my being longs for You, O Elohim.
O Elohim, we have heard with our ears, Our fathers have related to us, The work You did in their days, In the days of old.
My heart is overflowing with a goodly word; I address my works to the Sovereign; My tongue is the pen of a speedy writer.
Elohim is our refuge and strength, A help in distress, soon found.
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to Elohim with a voice of singing!
Great is יהוה, and greatly to be praised In the city of our Elohim, His set-apart mountain.
Hear this, all you peoples; Give ear, all you inhabitants of the world,

And the sons of Qoraḥ
Then they moved away from around the tents of Qoraḥ
and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Qoraḥ
So they and all those with them went down alive into the grave, and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.
and spoke to Qoraḥ
Sons of Shimʽ
and what He had done to Dathan and Aḇ
“Fathers are not put to death for their children, and children are not put to death for their fathers, each is to die for his own sin.
