And Mosheh spoke to the children of Yisra’ĕ
“And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.
And all the children of Yisra’ĕ
“Only, do not rebel against יהוה, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread. Their defence has turned away from them, and יהוה is with us. Do not fear them.”
“And it shall be that the rod of the man whom I choose buds, and I shall rid Myself of the grumblings of the children of Yisra’ĕ
So Mosheh placed the rods before יהוה in the Tent of the Witness.
