And they tore their garments, and each man loaded his donkey and went back to the city.
And Dawiḏ
And Elyaqim son of Ḥ
Nun his son, Yehoshua his son.
Then Iyoḇ
And Kalĕ
From the tribe of Yehuḏ
From the tribe of Ephrayim: Hoshĕ
“But My servant Kalĕ
‘None of you except Kalĕ
Of those men who went to spy out the land, only Yehoshua son of Nun, and Kalĕ
Then Mosheh and Aharon fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕ
and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕ
Then the high priest tore his garments, saying, “He has blasphemed! Why do we need any more witnesses? See, now you have heard His blasphemy!
And tearing his garments, the high priest said, “What further need do we have of witnesses?
And when the emissaries Barnaḇ
And the children of Yehuḏ
And Yehoshua tore his garments, and fell to the earth on his face before the ark of יהוה until evening, both he and the elders of Yisra’ĕ
And it came to be, when he saw her, that he tore his garments, and said, “Oh my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you are among those who trouble me! And I, I have given my word to יהוה, and I am unable to turn back.”
