so that my being chooses strangling, death rather than my bones.

Why is my pain without end and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Are You to me like a failing stream, as waters not steadfast?

Why did I come forth from the womb to see toil and sorrow, and spend my days in shame?

“And now, O יהוה, please take my life from me, for it is better for me to die than to live!”

יהוה  has turned aside your judgments. He has faced your enemy. The Sovereign of Yisra’ĕ

And let endurance have a perfect work, so that you be perfect and complete, lacking in naught.
