Though the inhabitants of Maroth waited for good, yet evil came down from יהוה to the gate of Yerushalayim.

Have You completely rejected Yehuḏ

For her wounds are incurable. For it has come to Yehuḏ

If a ram’s horn is blown in a city, do the people not tremble? If there is calamity in a city, shall not יהוה have done it?

We looked for peace, but there was no good; and for a time of healing, but see – fear!

forming light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil. I, יהוה, do all these.’

When I looked for good, then evil came to me. And when I waited for light, darkness came.

And he came in and saw Ě

And she said to them, “Do not call me Naʽ
