and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Aḇ
“Son of man, they who inhabit those ruins in the land of Yisra’ĕ
“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil reasonings, adulteries, whorings, murders,
“And he was reasoning within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, because I have no room to store my crops?’
“And crying out he said, ‘Father Aḇ
But He answering, said to them, “I say to you that if these shall be silent, the stones would cry out.”
“Therefore bear fruit worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Aḇ
And יהושע, knowing their thoughts, answering, said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts?
And when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This One, if He were a prophet, would know who and what kind of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”
They answered Him, “We are the seed of Aḇ
“I know that you are the seed of Aḇ
“Are You greater than our father Aḇ
“Men, brothers, sons of the race of Aḇ
“Shimʽ
What, then, shall we say Aḇ
