“Watch therefore, because you do not know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Aḏ

So, then, we should not sleep, as others do, but we should watch and be sober.

“See, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who is staying awake and guarding his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

“Watch then at all times, and pray that you be counted worthy to escape all this about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Aḏ

Watch, stand fast in the belief, be men, be strong.

Be sober, watch, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

the master of that servant shall come on a day when he does not expect it, and at an hour he does not know,

But the end of all has drawn near. Therefore be sober-minded, and be attentive in the prayers.

But you be sober in all matters, suffer hardships, do the work of an evangelist, accomplish your service completely.

“Therefore watch, remembering that for three years, night and day, I did not cease to warn each one with tears.

“But he answering, said, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
