“So if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe.

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, “Prepare the way of יהוה ; make straight in the desert a highway for our Elohim.

“See, I have forewarned you.

“For as the lightning comes from the east and shines to the west, so also shall the coming of the Son of Aḏ

And in those days Yoḥ

“Are you not the Mitsrite who some time ago stirred up a revolt and led the four thousand assassins out into the wilderness?”
