But the Word of יהוה  was to them, “Command upon command, command upon command, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little,” so that they go and shall stumble backward, and be broken and snared and taken captive.

“For the nation and the reign that do not serve you shall perish, and those gentiles shall be utterly laid waste.

“And in that day it shall be that I make Yerushalayim a very heavy stone for all peoples – all lifting it are severely injured. And all the nations of the earth shall be gathered against it.

“Because of this I say to you: the reign of Elohim shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits of it.

And the chief priests and Pharisees, having heard His parables, knew that He was speaking of them.

And all the people answering, said, “His blood be on us and on our children.”

“Everyone who falls on that stone shall be broken, but on whomever it falls, he shall be pulverised.”

יהושע  answered, “You would possess no authority against Me if it were not given you from above. Because of this, he who delivered Me to you has greater sin.”

As it has been written, “See, I lay in Tsiyon a Stone of stumbling and a Rock that makes for falling, and everyone who is believing on Him shall not be put to shame.”

forbidding us to speak to the gentiles that they might be saved, so as to fill up their sins always. But the wrath has come upon them to the utmost.

and “A stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling,” who stumble because they are disobedien to the Word, to which they also were appointed.
