And He said to them, “Would a lamp be brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be put on a lampstand?

“Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines to all those in the house.

“And no one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a hidden place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in shall see the light.

“And no one having lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but he puts it on a lampstand, so that those coming in see the light.

And to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for profiting,
