Indeed, Elohim smites the head of His enemies, The hairy scalp of him who walks about in His guilt.

“And they seized him and beat him and sent him away empty-handed.

“And again he sent another, and they killed him; and many others, beating some and killing some.

“And again he sent another servant. And they beat him too and maltreated him, and sent him away empty-handed.
