And they came to Yeriḥ
“And as he sowed, some indeed fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them.
“And there was a certain beggar named Elʽ
“And it came to be that the beggar died, and was carried by the messengers to the bosom of Aḇ
And it came to be, that as He was coming near Yeriḥ
And having entered, He was passing through Yeriḥ
Therefore the neighbours and those who saw him before, that he was blind, said, “Is not this he who was sitting and begging?”
