Then Ḥ
And the child grew and became strong in spirit, and was in the deserts until the day of showing Himself openly to Yisra’ĕ
And the word of יהוה came to Yonah son of Amittai, saying,
He said, “I am a voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of יהוה,’ as the prophet Yeshayahu said.”
Then the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people came together at the court of the high priest, who was called Qayapha,
The voice of one crying in the wilderness, “Prepare the way of יהוה ; make straight in the desert a highway for our Elohim.
And as these were going, יהושע began to say to the crowds concerning Yoḥ
The word of יהוה which came to Tsephanyah son of Kushi, son of Geḏ
The word of יהוה that came to Miḵ
And the word of יהוה came to me, saying,
to whom the word of יהוה came in the days of Yoshiyahu son of Amon, sovereign of Yehuḏ
the word of יהוה came expressly to Yeḥ
As it has been written in the Prophets, “See, I send My messenger before Your face, who shall prepare Your way before You,
