searching to know what, or what sort of time, the Spirit which was in them was pointing out concerning Messiah, when it was bearing witness beforehand the sufferings of Messiah, and the esteems that would follow,

“O sword, awake against My Shepherd, against the Man who is My Companion,” declares יהוה  of hosts. “Smite the Shepherd, and let the sheep be scattered. But I shall turn My hand upon the little ones.

explaining and pointing out that the Messiah had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This is the Messiah, יהושע, whom I proclaim to you.”

looking to the Princely Leader and Perfecter of our belief, יהושע, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the stake, having despised the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.

and said to them, “Thus it has been written, and so it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and to rise again from the dead the third day,

Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master יהושע  Messiah, who according to His great compassion has caused us to be born again to a living expectation through the resurrection of יהושע  Messiah from the dead,

And He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Mosheh and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”

saying, ‘The Son of Aḏ

“And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off and have naught. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the set-apart place. And the end of it is with a flood. And wastes are decreed, and fighting until the end.

So, when He was raised from the dead, His taught ones remembered that He said this to them. And they believed the Scripture and the word which יהושע  had said.

For they did not yet know the Scripture, that He has to rise again from the dead.
