And He spoke this parable to them, saying,
We all, like sheep, went astray, each one of us has turned to his own way. And יהוה has laid on Him the crookedness of us all.
“And I shall rejoice in Yerushalayim, and shall joy in My people, and let the voice of weeping no more be heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’ĕ
And He spoke to them much in parables, saying, “See, the sower went out to sow.
“But go and learn what this means, ‘I desire compassion and not offering.’ For I did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.”
And the Pharisees and scribes grumbled, saying, “This One receives sinners and eats with them.”
“What man among you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?
He said to him again, the second time, “Shimʽ
And when they heard it, they praised the Master. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands of Yehuḏ
