“And he who goes into the house, all the days while it is shut up, becomes unclean until evening.

‘And the priest shall prepare them, the one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him before יהוה  because of his discharge.

“And he who sent away the goat to Azazel washes his garments, and shall bathe his body in water, and afterward he comes into the camp.

“And any being who eats a carcass or what was torn by a beast, be he a native or a stranger, he shall wash his garments and bathe in water, and shall be unclean until evening. Then he shall be clean.

the being who has touched it shall be unclean until evening, and does not eat the set-apart offerings, but shall bathe his body in water.

‘The priest shall then wash his garments, and shall bathe his body in water, and afterward come into the camp, but the priest is unclean until evening.

Then I said, “Ah, Master יהוה! See, I have never defiled myself from my youth till now. I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has unclean meat ever come into my mouth.”
