The best of them is like a prickly plant, the most straight is sharper than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchman and your punishment has come, now is their confusion.
Judgments are in store for scoffers, And beatings for the backs of fools.
Wisdom is found on the lips of him who has understanding, But a rod is for the back of him who lacks heart.
