Thus he swayed the hearts of all the men of Yehuḏ
and set him up to reign over Gilʽ
And the sovereign said to Yo’aḇ
to cause the reign to pass over from the house of Sha’ul, and to raise up the throne of Dawiḏ
“And see, I intend to build a house for the Name of יהוה my Elohim, as יהוה spoke to my father Dawiḏ
And all the commanders of the armies, they and their men, heard that the sovereign of Baḇ
And Dawiḏ
And they settled the matter, to send a call to all Yisra’ĕ
Now when the seventh month came, and the children of Yisra’ĕ

So Yirmeyahu went to Geḏ

So Mosheh gave Gilʽ
and Dilʽ
And the lot for the tribe of Menashsheh, for he was the first-born of Yosĕ
and Mitspeh, and Kephirah, and Motsah,
And when the children of Yisra’ĕ
About forty thousand armed ones of the army passed over before יהוה for battle, to the desert plains of Yeriḥ
Then the children of Ammon were called together and encamped in Gilʽ
Then Yiphtaḥ
And Yiphtaḥ
And they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born to Yisra’ĕ
And all the men of Yisra’ĕ
And the children of Yisra’ĕ
And the leaders of all the people, all the tribes of Yisra’ĕ
And all the people rose as one man, saying, “Let not one of us go to his tent, nor any of us turn back to his house.
