And Yehoshua sent them out. And they went to lie in ambush, and stayed between Bĕ

And he took about five thousand men and set them in ambush between Bĕ

Now Yehoshua sent men from Yeriḥ

And the present passed over before him, but he himself spent the night in the camp.

And from there he moved to the mountain east of Bĕ

“And it shall be, when you capture the city, that you burn the city with fire. Do according to the word of יהוה. See, I have commanded you.”

And Yehoshua rose up early in the morning and inspected the people, and went up, he and the elders of Yisra’ĕ
