Then the children of Re’uḇ
A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up displeasure.
To man belongs the preparations of the heart, But from יהוה is the answer of the tongue.
He who answers a matter before he hears it, It is folly and shame to him.
He who gives a right answer kisses the lips.
