But You, O ื™ื”ื•ื”, Are a compassionate ฤš


ื™ื”ื•ื”ย  shows favour and is compassionate, Patient and great in kindness.


For You, ื™ื”ื•ื”, are good, and ready to forgive, And great in kindness to all those who call upon You.


and that nation shall turn from its evil because I have spoken against it, then I shall repent of the evil that I thought to do to it.


And ื™ื”ื•ื”ย  relented from the evil which He said He would do to His people.


But He, the Compassionate One, Pardoned crookedness, And did not destroy them. And many a time He turned His displeasure away, And did not stir up all His wrath.


ื™ื”ื•ื”ย  relented concerning this. “It shall not be,” said ื™ื”ื•ื”.


And Elohim saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. And Elohim relented from the evil which He had said He would do to them, and He did not do it.


But Yonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of ื™ื”ื•ื”, and went down to Yapho, and found a ship going to Tarshish. And he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of ื™ื”ื•ื”.


But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree, and prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, ื™ื”ื•ื”, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!”


ื™ื”ื•ื”ย  relented concerning this. “This shall not be either,” said the Master ื™ื”ื•ื”.


Return, O ื™ื”ื•ื”! How long? And be sorry for Your servants.


But he, wishing to declare himself righteous, said to ื™ื”ื•ืฉืข, “And who is my neighbour?”


O ื™ื”ื•ื”, You enticed me, and I was enticed. You are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I have been ridiculed all day long, everyone mocks me.


“For ื™ื”ื•ื”ย  your Elohim is a compassionate ฤš


ื™ื”ื•ื”ย  is compassionate and showing favour, Patient, and great in kindness.


“And now, make good your ways and your deeds, and obey the voice of ื™ื”ื•ื”ย  your Elohim, then ื™ื”ื•ื”ย  shall relent concerning the evil He has pronounced against you.


‘If you would indeed stay in this land, then I shall build you and not pull you down, and I shall plant you and not pluck you up. For I have relented of the evil I have done to you.


“Who knows whether Elohim does turn and relent, and shall turn away from the heat of His displeasure, so that we do not perish?”
