And the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And having set her in the midst,

And bending down again, He wrote on the ground.

who show the work of the Torah written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or even excusing,

You who say, “Do not commit adultery,” do you commit adultery? You who abominate idols, do you rob temples?

that if our heart condemns us, Elohim is greater than our heart, and knows all.
