Why are your garments hot, when the earth is stilled from the south?

Do you know the balancing of the clouds, the wonders of the One perfect in knowledge?

Did you, with Him, spread out the clouds, strong as a hard mirror?

Do you bind the bands of Kimah, or loosen the cords of Kesil?

When it is warm, they cease to flow; when it is hot, they vanish from their place.

He sends out His word and melts them, He causes His wind to blow – the waters flow;

“And when you see the south wind blow, you say, ‘There shall be hot weather,’ and it is.
