He rescues the afflicted one in his affliction, and opens their ears in oppression.

And He opens their ear for discipline, and commands that they turn back from wickedness.

but they are to become his servants, so that they know My service and the service of the reigns of the lands.”

But He saves the needy from the sword of their mouth, from the clutches of the strong.

Look, blessed is the man whom Eloah does reprove, so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

Are the comforts of Ě

then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,

And if they are bound in shackles, caught in the cords of affliction,

Beware, do not turn to wickedness, for you have chosen this rather than affliction.

For He delivers the needy when he cries, And the poor, who has no helper.

But He raises the poor up from affliction, And makes their clans like a flock.
