If not, listen to me, keep silent, and let me teach you wisdom.”

Come, you children, listen to me; Let me teach you the fear of יהוה.

“You simple ones, understand insight, And you fools, be of an understanding heart.

My mouth speaks wisdom, And the meditation of my heart brings understanding.

My words are from the uprightness of my heart, my lips shall speak knowledge clearly.

If there are words, answer me; speak, for I desire to declare you right.

Then Elihu responded and said,

Who is the man who desires life, Who loves many days, in order to see good?
