If there are words, answer me; speak, for I desire to declare you right.

Look, I know your thoughts, and the plots with which you would wrong me.

Far be it from me that I grant that you are right. Until I die I would not turn aside my integrity from me.

Pay attention, Iyoḇ

If not, listen to me, keep silent, and let me teach you wisdom.”

If you are able, answer me, set yourself in order before me, take your stand.
