How have you given counsel to the unwise, or declared sound advice to many?
See, all of you have seen it. Why then are you altogether vain?
What strength do I have, that I should wait? And what is my end, that I should prolong my life?
Is my strength the strength of stones? Is my flesh of bronze?
Is my help not within me? And is ability driven from me?
Words of uprightness are harsh! But what does your reproving reprove?
Do not cast me off in the time of old age, When my strength fails, do not forsake me.
With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him in the path of right-ruling? Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of understanding?
