And the eye of the adulterer watches for dusk, saying, ‘No eye sees me.’ And he puts a covering on the face.

He has said in his heart, “Ě

And He said to me, “The crookedness of the house of Yisra’ĕ

And He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕ

Yet they say, “Yah does not see, And the Elohim of Yaʽ

And they have said, “How could Ě

“When you saw a thief, you were pleased with him, And you take part with adulterers.

‘For you did it in secret, but I shall do this deed before all Yisra’ĕ

“You do not commit adultery.

If my heart has been enticed by a woman, or if I have lurked at my neighbour’s door,

And I saw among the simple, I perceived among the youths, A young man lacking heart,
