All my intimate friends loathe me, and those whom I love have turned against me.

Even my own friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me.

And יהושע said to him, “Yehuḏ

He has put forth his hands against those Who were at peace with him; He has broken his covenant.

My loved ones and my friends stand back from my plague, And my neighbours stand far away.

My near ones have fallen away, and my close friends have forgotten me.

Even young children have scorned me. I rise, and they speak against me.

You have put away my friends far from me; You have made me an abomination to them; I am shut in and do not go out;

Indeed, you have now become the same! You see my downfall and are afraid.

But You, יהוה, show me favour and raise me up, And let me repay them.
