turning aside the lip of the trusted ones, and takes away the discernment of the elders;

The multitude are not wise, nor do the aged understand right-ruling.

For You have hidden their heart from understanding, therefore You do not exalt them.

turning aside the heart of the chiefs of the people of the earth, and He makes them wander in a pathless waste.

Lying lips are an abomination to יהוה, But those who deal truly are His delight.

The lip of truth is established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment.

The lips of the righteous shepherd many, But fools die for lack of heart.

because Eloah has made her forget wisdom, and did not endow her with understanding.
