One runner runs to meet another, and one reporter to meet another, to report to the sovereign of Baḇ
And the runners went to all Yisra’ĕ
And he wrote in the name of Sovereign Aḥ
The runners, riding on royal horses, went out, hastened and pressed on by the sovereign’s command. And the decree was given out in the citadel of Shushan.
My days have become swifter than a runner – they have fled, they have not seen good.
