“There is praise for Mo’aḇ
The message concerning Mo’aḇ
My own heart is toward Mo’aḇ
But now יהוה has spoken, saying, “Within three years, as the years of a hired man, the esteem of Mo’aḇ
For the hand of יהוה rests on this mountain, and Mo’aḇ
For thus said יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕ
I then took the cup from the hand of יהוה, and made all the nations drink, to whom יהוה had sent me,
“If these laws vanish from before Me,” declares יהוה, “then the seed of Yisra’ĕ
“Have you not observed what these people have spoken, saying, ‘The two clans which יהוה has chosen have been rejected by Him’? So they have despised My people, no more to be a nation before them.
“Do not fear, O Yaʽ
“Lament for him, all you who are around him. And all you who know his name, say, ‘How the strong sceptre has been broken, the staff of splendour!’
“And Mo’aḇ
“Those who fled stood powerless under the shadow of Ḥ
“Howl, O Ḥ
‘And I shall break Ě
And the children of Re’uḇ
