that Yirmeyahu went out of Yerushalayim to go into the land of Binyamin to receive his portion there in the midst of the people.

The words of Yirmeyahu the son of Ḥ

Keep back from every form of wickedness.

“And when they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For truly, I say to you, you shall by no means have gone through the cities of Yisra’ĕ

And I said, “Should a man like me flee? And who is there like me who would go into the Hĕ

And from the tribe of Binyamin: Geḇ

And there he went into a cave and spent the night there. And see, the word of יהוה came to him, and said to him, “What are you doing here, Ě

And he feared, and rose up and ran for his life, and went to Be’ĕ

And it came to be, when the army of the Chaldeans left the siege of Yerushalayim for fear of Pharaoh’s army,

“See, I would wander far off, I would lodge in the wilderness. Selah.
