“And I shall hurl you out, and your mother who bore you, into another land where you were not born, and there you shall die.
And he exiled Yehoyaḵ
Yehoyaḵ
And it came to be in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Yehoyaḵ
and changed his prison garments. And he ate bread continually before the sovereign all the days of his life.
And as his allowance, a continual allowance was given to him from the sovereign, a quota for each day, all the days of his life.
‘See, יהוה is hurling you away, O man, and is firmly grasping you,
For thus said יהוה, “See, at this time I am hurling out the inhabitants of the land, and shall distress them, so that they feel it.”
Say to the sovereign and to the sovereigness mother, “Humble yourselves. Sit down, for your rule, the crown of your comeliness, has come down.”
‘So I shall throw you out of this land into a land that you do not know, neither you nor your fathers. And there you shall serve other mighty ones day and night, where I show you no favour.’
“But they shall not return to the land to which their being yearns to return.
‘And I am going to bring back to this place Yeḵ
after Yeḵ
‘And none of the remnant of Yehuḏ
