who once were not a people, but now the people of Elohim; who had not obtained compassion, but now obtained compassion.

“And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away.”

And in that day there shall be a Root of Yishai, standing as a banner to the people. Unto Him the gentilesshall seek, and His rest shall be esteem.

For we who have believed do enter into that rest, as He has said, “As I swore in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest...” And yet His works have come into being from the foundation of the world.

Therefore, since a promise remains of entering into His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.

choosing rather to be afflicted with the people of Elohim than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time,

“As I swore in My wrath, ‘If they shall enter into My rest...’ ”

who gave Himself for us, to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people, His own possession, ardent for good works.

“And she shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name יהושע  for He shall save His people from their sins.”

he enters into peace. They who walk in integrity rest on their beds.

Nobles of peoples shall be gathered together, The people of the Elohim of Aḇ

For if Yehoshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that.

For the one, having entered into His rest, has himself also rested from his works, as Elohim rested from His own.

And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Master from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “in order that they rest from their labours, and their works follow with them.”

So the people rested on the seventh day.
