“Their horses shall be swifter than leopards, and more fierce than evening wolves. And their horsemen shall charge ahead, and their horsemen come from afar. They fly as the eagle, rushing to eat.

Our pursuers were swifter Than the eagles of the heavens. They came hotly after us on the mountains And lay in wait for us in the wilderness.

They have passed by like swift ships, like an eagle swooping on its prey.

But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; together they plunder the people of the east, their hand stretching forth on Eḏ

‘With the hooves of his horses he tramples all your streets, he slays your people by the sword, and the columns of your strength shall fall to the ground.

He remembers his noble ones, they stumble in their walk, they hurry to her walls, and the defence is prepared.
