And the sons of Maḵ
And after this Iyoḇ
And she said, “See, my female servant Bilhah; go in to her, and let her bear for me, and let me be built up from her as well.”
And let you see your children’s children! Peace be upon Yisra’ĕ
And the lot for the tribe of Menashsheh, for he was the first-born of Yosĕ
So Mosheh gave to the children of Gaḏ
But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He also becomes a people, and he also is great. And yet, his younger brother is greater than he, and his seed is to become the completeness of the nations.”
“His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth whiter than milk.
The sons of Menashsheh: his Aramean concubine bore him Maḵ
Children’s children are the crown of old men, And the adornment of children is their fathers.
