And after he brought forth Lemeḵ
And after he brought forth Methushelaḥ
And after he brought forth Ḥ
After he brought forth Mahalal’ĕ
And after he brought forth Qĕ
And after he brought forth Enosh, Shĕ
Because our sons are like plants Grown up in their youth; Our daughters like hewn stones, Polished, like a palace building;
Look, children are an inheritance from יהוה, The fruit of the womb is the reward.
And Arpaḵ
“As for you, bear fruit and increase, bring forth teemingly in the earth and increase in it.”
And Elohim blessed Noaḥ
And Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over all creatures moving on the earth.”
